Just like the trends in Smartphones and gadgets to have a lite version of every flagship device, the Infinix Note 8i is the lite version of the Note 8 flagship. While they share a lot in common, as expected the lite version, Infinix Note 8i has a number of its features stripped down while still remaining superior to its predecessor, Note 7.
I am particularly amazed that while Infinix Note 8i is a lite version, it still retains the powerful Helio G80, 6Gigabyte of RAM to back it up, and a massive 5200mAh battery. The major observable difference between the two is the camera, both rear and front.

Hardware
Inifinix Note 8i like the Note 8 comes with a very powerful Mediatek Helio G80 Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) processor with Mali-G52 graphics processor. Infinix Note 8 comes with an enormous 128G internal memory with 6 Gigabyte of RAM with a dedicated slot to extend the storage with a microSDXC card. Like the Note 7, the fingerprint is side-mounted. Interestingly the Note 8i also comes with a Type-C USB connector
Design and Display
Inifinix Note 8i has a very sleek body design with three variant colors, Blue Grey and Green. It comes in a dimension of 171.4 mm height x 77.7mm width x 8.9 mm thickness, the same body thickness as Note 7. The display is made of an IPS LCD of 6.78 inches protected by a corning gorilla glass with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels.
Camera
Here is where the stripping down comes in, Infinix Note 8i has the same camera power as the Note 7, a Quad 48 MP(wide), 2 MP(macro), 2 MP (depth), and 2 MP camera arrangement in a rectangular arrangement. It has a single 8 MP front camera for your selfie.
Battery
Infinix Note 8i also comes with an enormous 5200mAh Li-Po Non-removable Battery with fast charging of up to 18w
