The Infinix Note 7 Lite is the Junior brother of the Note 7. However, they are not too different, at least in the major areas. But merely looking at the just you will easily differentiate them due to the difference in their design. Infinix Note 7 Lite also shipped with the Helo G70 processor and a 48MP quad-camera like the senior, Note 7. You may now wonder, what makes the difference aside from the circular camera design in Note 7 and Linearly Horizontal camera design in Note 7 Lite? Let’s see
Infinix Note 7 Lite Review
Hardware
Like the Note 7, Infinix Note 7 lite comes loaded with Mediatek Helio G70 Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55) processor with a Mali-G52 graphics processor. So technically you can expect the performance of both to be almost if not the same except that there is no 6G RAM variant of Note 7 Lite. It also comes with a microSDXC extension slot (dedicated slot), however, this has only two variants of internal memory of 64GB 4GB RAM and 128GB 4GB RAM. Just like the big brother, it also comes with a unique side-mounted fingerprint for security.
Design and Display
This is where you get to see the major differences in Note 7 and Note 7 Lite. Their design is slightly different especially at the rear, the Note 7 Lite, unlike the circular camera design of Note 7, has a horizontal quad-camera design. While they both have the same thickness of 8.8mm, Note 7 Lite is a little lighter weighing 185g. This may be due to the fact that Note 7 Lite is smaller in Display size at just 6.6 inches as opposed to the 6.95 inches of the Note 7. Infinix Note 7 Lite also has a lesser resolution at 720 x 1600 and lacks the protection of corning gorilla glass like the Note 7.
Camera
While both have 48 MP quad-camera at the rear, there are a few differences in their configurations. Note 7 has its 4th camera dedicated for video camera that enables you to capture rich detail and color, even in the dark, with the 1080P low-light video camera without flash. This feature is lacking in Note 7 Lite and the 4th camera is used as the QVGA camera. The selfie camera on Note 7 Lite is half of that on Note 7 at 8MP.
Battery
Interestingly Note 7 Lite also has a 5000mAh battery but with 10w fast charging as opposed to 18W on Note 7.
