Oppo Reno 3 series is the newest addition to the Reno family of Oppo mobile phones. This new series of two variants Oppo Reno 3 Pro and Reno 3 seems to be built for high-quality mobile photography. Hardware
Oppo Reno 3 Pro is run by the Mediatek Helio P95 processor, a very powerful Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor that is highly enhanced for artificial intelligence and gaming with a PowerVR GM9446 graphic processor. This is further enhanced by the UFS 2.1 (Universal Flash Storage) technology for the storage, coming with 128GB 8GB RAM or 256GB 8GB RAM internal memory that can be extended via a microSDXC dedicated slot. For its security, it uses an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
Design and Display
The phone comes in three variant designs in color, Auroral Blue, Midnight Black, and Sky White. It comes with a Glass front, gorilla glass 5, plastic back, and plastic frame which is seemly responsible for its light-weight of just 175g, with a body thickness of just 8.1mm. Oppo Reno 3 Pro has an elegant design with its full view punch hole dual front camera. Coming at 1080 x 2400 pixels in resolution, the super AMOLED 6.4 inches display is a beauty to behold.
Camera
The camera on Oppo Reno 3 Pro is the major point of attention. This is because of the quad-camera arrangement that has on it a 64MP Ultra-clear main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, a 2MP mono lens, and an 8MP Ultra-wide Angle Lens.
The camera is further optimized by the power of the Helio P95 processor to give clear images day and night. In the front sits a 44MP x 2MP dual punch hole camera.
The dual front camera algorithm achieves a binocular bokeh effect, producing sharper edges and background gradients.
Battery
Oppo Reno 3 Pro has a Non-removable Li-Po 4025 mAh battery with 30W fast charging that is promised to charge the phone from 0-50% in 20min using the VOOC 4.0 (Voltage Open Loop Multi-step Constant-Current Charging) technology. So charging the phone should not be an issue.
