Oppo Reno 3 is the second variant of the Reno 3 series, being a lite version of the Oppo Reno 3 Pro. The Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro has a 44MP front camera, 4025mAh battery, and the same display resolution. However, those seem to be the only things they share in common. Many other features of the Reno 3 Pro was stripped down in Oppo Reno 3. For example, Oppo Reno 3 uses an Helio P90 as opposed to Helio P95 in Reno 3 Pro, while both have Quad Camera, Reno 3 carries 48MP as opposed to the big 68MP on Reno 3 Pro. The front camera on Reno 3 is a single 44MP shooter with a waterdrop display unlike the punch hole dual 44MPx2MP shooter on Reno 3 Pro.

Hardware

While the Reno 3 uses an Helio P90 Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor, which is a little bit lower than the P95 on Reno 3 Pro, it is nonetheless a very powerful device. The processor is highly optimized for artificial intelligence and fast connection and is integrated with the same graphics processor as the P95, PowerVR GM9446. This appears to be the only major difference in Oppo Reno 3 Pro And Reno 3, as it also uses the UFS 2.1 (Universal Flash Storage) technology for the storage, however, coming with only 128GB 8GB RAM variant of internal memory that can be extended via a microSDXC dedicated slot. For its security, it also uses an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.

Design and Display

Oppo Reno 3 is slightly slimmer and lighter than the Reno 3 Pro, at 7.9mm thickness, and 170g respectively. It also comes in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and sky white color like in the Reno 3 Pro. The display is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors at 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It employs the water drop design for its front camera with a display size of 6.4inches.

Camera

The biggest major difference in Oppo Reno 3 and the pro version is the camera. While they both have a 44MP selfie camera, Reno 3 has this as a single camera as opposed to the dual shooter on the Pro version.
